If you’re someone with moderate and average print needs, the Epson ET-3710 might be a suitable companion for your small-scale office. The Printer has a good output quality and has some of the lowest running costs for a consumer printer.

 However, the machine is not the most suitable for its price. Its price rests between the Canon Pixma G6020 and the Epson EcoTank ET-4760, which costs $120 more but justifies this price value by offering the auto-duplexing automatic document feeder (AFD). 

This puts the Epson ET-3710 in a genuinely tricky position; in a nutshell, the Epson ET-3710 is a reliable Printer overshadowed by its competitors. Even in its own family, the main difference between the Epson ET-3710 and its brothers, the ET-4760 and ET-3760, is that ET-3710 lacks ADF, and so is incapable of sending multi page files to the scanner.

Performance

Epson officially rates the ET-3710 at 15 monochrome pages per minute (ppm), which is a reasonable rate for ink-models in this range.

To examine the Printer, a test was conducted to check the output rate of the device. The Printer was fed with a Microsoft document, which was outputted at a rate of 15.7 ppm, slightly higher than the officially stated speed.

The MFC J6545DW is $70 cheaper than its more advanced brother, the Brother MFC-J6945DW; however, you lose a lot for this price fall. This includes losing the automatic two-sided scanning and copying, and the input capacity is also reduced. This Printer is a perfect partner for your work if you don’t require these features.

Performance

The Brother MFC J6545DW performs all functions of copying, scanning, and faxing. These operations are performable even on tabloid-sized papers.

With the added ability to print borderless photos, this feature allows you to add distinguishing features to your images that are not present with some of the high-quality lasers and inkjets.

Not only is the output sound, but the cost-per-print is also very low. The Printer outputs at a price less than 1 cent for each monochrome page and less than 5 cents for each colored page.

Performance

Performance

Canon has stated that it has made some behind the scene changes to improve the print speed for the pro 9000 Mark II, we weren’t mostly impressed with the print speed of the Canon 9500pro mark II which is more expensive. This had us wondering, what are the changes in speed we can expect from this new device from Canon?

Starting from scratch and attaching it to a Mac test setup, the Printer took about 9 minutes to print high quality and high resolution 13″ x19″ print on semi-gloss photo paper. For other more moderate prints, the Canon 9000 II’s speed was up with the other class A printers as it took the Printer one and a half minute to print borderless 8×10 pictures.

Talking about the print quality, the Canon 9000 Mark II produced high quality, punch, and sparkly colored prints. IF compared with its brother Canon 9500 mark II, the 9000 mark II takes the win easily. However, the quality for regular monochrome prints is where the more expensive sibling took the win. 

Overall, for the price tag, the Canon 9000 produced exceptionally vibrant quality colored prints thanks to its 8 ink tanks while the monochrome text quality was alright.

Connectivity

Sadly though, the connectivity options aren’t that vast. There are no mobile connections, primarily through the internet, since the Printer does not support WiFi. You will, however, be getting a USB 2.0 port to connect with your PC.

For connectivity options, the Printer is very archaic in the sense that it doesn’t support Ethernet or other wired and wireless options. You’ll be doing most of the printing tasks over the Printer through direct printing. For operating systems, the Printer supports Windows and Max OS.

Portability

The Canon 9000 Mark II has average dimensions with a height of 26 inches, a width of 7.6, and a depth of 13.9 inches. The Printer weights 33.4 pounds or almost 15 kgs. So, definitely not a portable device. 

Due to its exceptional color prints and its weight factor, the Printer is most suitable for a fixed designated position in your house or office.

Bottom Line

Summing up the review, we were impressed with Silhouette Alta and recommend it mostly to all who are vinyl cutting fans. However, if you are looking at this printer to do the 3D printing then it’s build volume is too small and you can print good quality miniatures only.

Overall, the machine itself is well built and mostly aimed at beginners. Moreover the software allows you to get creative and it does outperform other 3D printers at this price point.

The Canon 9000 Mark II is more of an old printer equipped with 8 ink tanks, which probably are the reasons for its heavyweight.

The Printer has no LCD screen or any display at all. Mostly, it’s a regular printer with extremely minimum connectivity options.

But these are all secondary features. The main points which stand in defense of the device are the fact that it is cheap and produces punching, vibrant, high-quality print outs.

This tells us that it isn’t portable, so most of the work you require would have to be done for one fixed place. 

Bottom Line

Canon Pro 100 is a heavy set and large Printer that is mostly manual in nature, the Printer does not include an LCD or any display for that matter. It has only 2 connectivity options that are through Ethernet or USB. But then, why does this Printer have a high price value?

The reason for its high price is that it produces punch, clear and crisp prints. These crystal-like vibrant photo prints scream professionality due to its 8 ink tanks, which are probably the reason behind its weight.

So if you’re someone who occasionally likes to take pictures and print them out in large format, then this Printer is the right companion for your hobby.

As stated in the name, this little guy is a compact printer you can carry with yourself wherever you go. 

The good thing about the S1 portable Printer is that it can work on most surfaces (paper or otherwise).

 It is essential to remain reasonable with your expectation with this Printer as it is obvious that you can not print an entire book with this as your hand positioning determines the angle of printing.

Performance

This innovation has changed the world of printing for most of us who love printers and every feature they bring to the table.

The way you work with this is you load your message into the Selpic app, which gets transferred to the Printer. Then you just have to press the P button on the side, and when the top light turns green, you’re ready to print!!

The most significant issue people have here is the price of ink cartridges, when each cartridge costs $80, it becomes really difficult to justify the Printer’s need. However, Selpic says that one 40 mm cartridge can print around 900 A4 pages at 5 percent coverage.

Connectivity

Connectivity is key here; the Selpic S1 only provides connectivity through WiFi. You can connect your Apple or Android device to the Printer through the Selpic app and feed it in a message you want to print.
